Theater
The Theater was built about 15 BCE by the Roman Consul Marcus Agrippa, son-in-law of Augustus. It was remodeled following a fire in the 2nd century, which primarily affected the rear wall of the stage area. The Theater seats 6000, and is still used for stage plays.
