The Spanish love their fiestas. There are numerous fiestas throughout the year, some lasting an entire week. Some are local, some are national; all are fun. This fiesta occured on the feast of Corpus Christi day and the day after. In this event, the empahsis seemed to be on dressing up and on being present. The costumes are amazing.
